FINALLY I GOT MYSELF AN iPOD TOUCH!!! WOOHOO!!!

POP lo!!

finally the POP date arrives and we're privates now.. haha.. this period of 13 weeks with my buddies has been a great time for me.. march, sing songs, eat, bath and sleep together are the things i will never forget man..

now i am enjoying my block leave.. hehe.. but first day i already got fever.. sian.. den i have to tidy up my stuff at home.. and prepare for my next phase of army life.. dunno will go where lo.. i wanna become a commander so that my life in future in army will be good..

anyway i plan to have a good buffet wif my dear during this time.. she's been wanting to have a good buffet but we got no time for that.. so must take a good chance to enjoy it!! yeah!! and we're going into our 2nd year of relationship le.. very happy with her and i love her very much..

to my dear: sorry if i've been neglecting or less caring for you.. i will improve on that de k? hope u forgive me wor.. love and missing u lots always!! muacks!!

end of week 5

alot of stuff i did liao:
- tried to put on camo on our dark faces
- learnt building basha and hand signals for IFC
- threw grenade
- live firing range

i'd say that the most happening de event of all is the throwing of live grenade.. it was really a very good experience for me.. the explosion sound as well as the trembling of the area around the bay when the grenade exploded very SHIOK ah!! lol.. it was louder than i expected it to be but it was alright wif the ear plug, so it is nth lo..

anyway i got this status called Att B from wednesday and till saturday i did nth but shit work (i.e. area cleaning for other company and our own).. realli sucks to do those stuff.. i would rather go and join my buddies and do the exercises which are more enriching that area cleaning.. haiz.. too bad.. i notice that alot of ppl from our platoon especially our section got alot of ppl falling sick.. dunno issit cause by the biscuits problem as mentioned in the news a few days ago.. apparently alot of our platoon mates bought alot of the biscuits under the affected brands like Julie's and Khong Guan.. so the cause may be from there la i nt sure.. see how it goes..

urban training and situation test is coming soon.. hope no confinement for these 2 events.. very sian to kena confinement.. can't see my ah dear and sleep on the best bed in my own home.. haiz.. saturday, which is also a book out day, is always the one thing i look forward to get out of the deserted tekong island and back to the mainland singapore and see my lovely dear.. how i wish i can do my BMT in singapore in office hours timing then i can go home to see her at least more than 2 times per week.. haha.. jus jk as i noe it wouldn't happen at all.. lol..

back from 2 weeks' confinement

hi everyone who is reading.. i am finally back from my 2 weeks of confinement a.k.a. physical training camp..

i was posted to the Ulysses company.. come ulu ulu company that i had not even heard of.. lol.. on the day of my enlistment when i was given the slip about my company and stuff den i was like "huh? what is this company sia?" all i've heard from my other frens are about those nice nice names de company like Viper, Ninja, Cougar, Mohawk.. then this Ulysses like no reputation or wat de lor.. haiz.. so sad.. but the good thing is, it is the ONLY company with its back facing the ocean.. haha.. and luckily i got into the first platoon, which is just located on the second storey.. heng.. no need to spend so much time rushing up and down the stairs.. lol..

hmm and so starts my army life.. everyday doing alot of physical training (or in short: PT) including CPT 1 and CPT 2, AGR and the most basic 5BX.. very sian everyday cos need to wake up like 5.30am in the morning when the sun hasn't even rise.. den wake up drink alot of water lo.. 500ml.. omg.. the food there is still acceptable in my opinion.. full and filling enough.. and in fact, i grew fatter by some 4 kg lo since my last weight taken in like a few months ago.. haha.. which i tink is a good thing la.. i never really gained weight in all my years until i knew my gf =X i don blame her.. but instead i wanna thank her for making me fat.. cos i NEED to be fatter to look "not-so-malnutrition" =DD

the life there (as of now) wasn't that hard as i expected.. maybe i take it as a training period for me, making me get more fit? i am grateful for my posting as my commanders seem to be more of the fitter people than the rest of the other platoon commanders, especially my platoon sergeant who taught us various training exercises for various IPPT stations..

along the 2 weeks, i get to know about my bunk mates as well.. they are very fun to play wif la i would say.. haha.. always joking around de.. lol.. some of which only came back to singapore just to serve NS..

yesterday i finally get to come out for a short book out.. and most importantly i get to see my lovely gf.. she almost couldn't recognise me in my smart 4.. lol.. so funny.. and she kept laughing at my new hairstyle in the never-seen-before-outfit.. diao.. i just let her laugh lo.. haiz.. afterall we never seen each other for 2 weeks lo.. the longest period that i've never seen her for while the second longest period i never seen her is like only 3-4 days? everyday i kept wishing for the day to come lo.. heng that the time past fast enough and 2 weeks just gone in a flash =) grateful man!! must spend the best of these times with her as much!! love her dearly!! oh btw belated HAPPY 1.5 year ANNIVERSARY to our relationship officially!! hehe..

there's definitely more things to learn over there.. looking forward to it..

today is a great day!!

went swimming today wif my sec frens - BH, Wil, Choon Guan cum his brother and Yi Chong.. we went to the new sengkang swimming complex there.. halfway to that place we met a slight drizzle, i tot to myself "die liao cannot swim already".. den u noe wat?? the drizzle stopped.. thanks man heaven!! so in the end i got to swim..

at that place, there are indoor and outdoor pools that adults and children swim.. on top of that there's also various slides and the pouring water thingy like wat u see in Wild Wild Wet de.. quite worth though comparing to the Wild Wild Wet.. oh btw talking abt the "worth" thing, i faked myself as a child to get pass that swimming complex gate.. ROFL LMAO!! funny rit?? but heng they nv check la.. if check sure kena..

anyone living near here can go try.. quite fun!! but rmb to put some lotion first.. wah now my skin so red la.. barely out in the sun for 2 hours? omg..

once again the countdown is nearer!! omg!! how how??

same feelings as before.. but but i looking forward to eating a nice meal with my lovely gf before i go in.. keke.. hungry liao talking abt it..

today met up with my primary school fren kirby at his hse and played his PS3.. wah shiok lehs.. graphic nice and very realistic.. damm i wan it too.. gonna update my wish list.. haha..

greats!! my dad's gonna have a new car coming.. the Toyota Axio 1.5L..

its the special edition de with alot more luxurious interior than its normal version.. and best of all its AUTO car!!! haha.. no need to worry to change gear or watever.. jus wack and go.. woots!! quite nice to drive leh.. now my family is just waiting for its birth-date.. haha.. i wanna take a ride at it before i go army though.. hopefully can ba!!

i am now counting down to my army enlistment date on the 16th September, 8.30am..

first day of my 2 weeks 'break':
did le some exercise in the morning and now writing blog.. feels so great not to work.. but somehow i still gt the feeling of going back to work.. awkward feeling.. den when 11.30am came, i tot how we were preparing to jio kakis to go for early lunch at RE.. lol.. haiz.. but nvm these tots will go away somehow..

time passing so fast and my Recruit Express career ended already.. can't believe 5 months plus plus pass by so fast.. omg.. it was like just yesterday when i joined and now its end of contract liao.. on my last day of work, friday, i did a summary of the list of positions i closed.. i realise most of the positions are with Grace, the temps-kaki.. haha.. but still lose to the sebastian la i guess.. sales so up high.. omg..

its such a coincidence that on friday, the 29th August, it was Elizabeth's birthday too!! lol.. everyone sang a happy birthday song to her.. the gals from IT-4 and IT-Banking even called Gary to ask him sing along the song.. lol so funny.. gary jus listen to the gals talking and talking.. but nv realli say anything or sing.. haiz.. but really amusing watching the gals teasing him.. LMAO..

to my surprise on my last day of work, Meiting, gave me 2 polo tees.. can wear out too.. haha.. actually i actually wanted to buy some new clothes de lor.. and she gave me at the right time!! just nice.. lol.. thanks to meiting!! =DD

and at the end of the day, jane treated us to the Crystal Jade de Korean restaurant.. first time i've been there actually.. we had the set meal for 4 for IT-3 members: Jane, Meiting, Lanny, Alvin and me.. first came the appetizers including kimchi, salty vegetable, small pancake and some others which i dunno how to describe.. then we gt the bacon, pork, chicken meat, beef and sotong to barbeque de.. i felt like eating in Seoul Garden actually, but this is definitely NICER and BETTER and MORE EXPENSIVE than that.. everything that we could barbeque is just tasty.. omg.. and then there's 2 types of salty sauce for us to dip the meat into.. nice leh.. just nice to go along with those meat.. besides the meat, we also had the cabbage to wrap them into and put into our mouth..

then there's also kimchi rice, fried pancake with sotong, vegetables and onions inside.. i like the pancake better though.. haha.. highlight of the day was the ginseng chicken soup.. its very special cos the inner organs of the chicken was filled with rice and some ingredient that i dunno.. lol.. very nutritious like that though.. and the chicken very big also.. we were so full from the previous dishes that we couldn't finish the chicken lo.. haha.. at the end, there's also various desserts that we can order from.. i ordered the mango pudding though.. haha..

altogether i tink we ate till about $140 or $150 ++.. nice.. if gt chance wanna go there try again..

Heroes & Prison Break

woots.... Heroes is gonna air on the 22nd September 2008.. great... but i'll be inside army still =( haiz... have to wait till i come out which is probably at abt the end of september den get to watch it... i would be looking forward for it though.. wanna continue to watch the best drama as yet..

as for Prison Break, they're gonna air on the 1st September 2008.. i would get to watch it though... actually i didnt wanted to continue after season 2 de.. den i found out that i had nth to do.. so i continued watching the season 3 where they were in the Sona prison.. haiz.. dunno how many more prison they gonna break.. damm.. break until the prison no use anymore... lol.. might as well all kill the prisoners lest they break out like the Scofield and gang did...

if only, there's a show which can link prison break and heroes together, wah damm nice man.. imagine peter petrelli assist the scofield to break out.. all the police = shit.. den maybe the sylar kills the president-to-be (nathan petrelli) and take over the political forces.. and tries to stop the peter and scofield.. and scofield cleverly tries to weave its way out of the situation and escape to another country.. lol.. (i just anyhow come out with a stupid story)

anyway these 2 shows are my most anticipated dramas now.. hope get to see it soon!!

Singapore's silver medal

singapore finally got a medal, from the table tennis team.. i was actually rather proud of singapore despite us being the underdogs.. overcoming the other national teams to reach the second position..

i was at the Courts (Tampines) yesterday and we walked around cos my sis wanted to get a camera.. after staying at the section for some time i felt that there's nth interesting.. so me and my gf just walked around the other sections and we came upon the tv, which was broadcasting this event.. and it so happen that there was this cafe over there.. we looked around (to see if anyone was doing the same thing) and we just sat on their sofa and started watching the programme.. haha.. it was quite a fun thing to do because alot of ppl was crowding around the tv and watching singapore team doing us proud.. i felt that although ppl might not know how to play or understand the game, they are still watching because its the match for the gold medal, and singapore is one of the contenders..

hope there's more than just the table tennis team who's getting medals.. come on team singapore get some medals man!! singapore is waiting!!

finally i get to watch The Dark Knight

nice lehs... nt bad la.. but nt as exciting as wat i expected.. action was there.. surprising parts was there.. one thing missing - pretty gal beside the hero.. aiya nvm abt that.. i was there to watch their action, action and more action!! haha and i get it!!! plus the bat-mobile, the motorbike and the lamborghini very pretty.. the bat-mobile can break off den become the bat-bike? lol.. somemore it can do a 180 degree turn around the wall lor.. cool!! i was amazed, seriously!! haha..

if only the bat-mobile is here in singapore den sure gt alot of chaos de sia.. but the first thing that i would do, i supposed, is to use that super vehicle go and find the mas salamat.. at least can get the $1 million dollars den offset the money i use to build that vehicle.. lol.. jkjk..

soon i'll be going for army liao.. on the surface i may look nt really worried, but in fact i am worried de.. i scared i may end up bad or wat.. and i will be inside for like so long.. every week i only get to see dear a few days like that only.. how how??? sob... maybe time will see what will happen.. dear must wait for me wor k???

Movie: Red Cliff

basically the show is nice overall.. watch to believe my words.. partly cos maybe i went in wif no knowledge on the china history etc.. though i watched it at the 3rd row from the front, its still nice.. but just let u noe first, there will definitely be second part..

and one spoiler: the real battle on the Red Cliff haven't even started showing in this movie.. i guess the second movie is all about the battle on the Red Cliff.. haha..

anyway before i watched the movie on saturday, i saw the cast (excluding Takeshi Kaneshiro and Tony Leung) at vivo city's opening of this movie.. alot of ppl went including "7-1-5", pan ling ling and husband, Nat Ho (if i rmb correctly), Zoe Tay, Huang Jun Xiong and some other more whom are not so significant and i forgot who they are.. lol..

actually my motivation to watch the show was partly because i saw the cast including the person acting Sun Quan (tink is Zhang Chen) and Ling Zhi-Ling on that day.. it made me feel that the movie is a must watch one.. cos first time i saw them in REAL!! lol.. but it was worth it la.. 2.5 hours lehs.. die die must watch.. alot of killings and blood though, so gals might not like.. unless u like bloody stuff..

sad sad sad... so many frens left last friday.. the farewell dinner which was supposedly for adeline became the farewell dinner for jonathan as emily as well sia.. scary.. i hope i will not get terminated =X

a day out to East Coast Park!!

yeah finally my wish has came true!! i had fulfilled it by going to east coast park play roller blades... haha.. so fun man.. and i was a coach too, to teaching my miss piggy to learn roller-blading.. not easy to teach her.. i tink my sis worst.. cos she can scream.. but for my dear she can laugh non-stop de kind.. "hehe" x 10-20mins.. lol.. but able to play it since like last year or wat is good man.. hope can go there again... keke.. maybe if dear is buying a pair to play herself i also wanna buy a pair liao.. oh man..

SWEAT HAPPENING ONE:

yesterday she saw a nice phone at the tamp mall's Hello! shop.. it's the new sony ericsson's G900 model.. she found the phone has alot of the features that she really found it worth, e.g. 5 MP camera, ability to go online blog etc.. for onli like $298 (instead of $400+++) during the promotion.. we saw that there was alot of people on that day so we asked one of their staff at the tamp mall de Hello! shop is it possible to reserve the phone tomorrow (which is TODAY) and she said that we can reserve on BOTH the day that we saw it (Saturday) and the day after (Today).. we saw the crowd, and also because of the time, we decided to forgo the opportunity and to try our luck today..

so today, we went to compass point, found the Hello! shop, nt long after they open for business

asked if there's any stock there ----- NO
asked if can reserve a phone ----- NO

we are so zzz.. we tried arguing that the gal at the tamp mall branch there told us that we can reserve one of them today isnt it? den she say no.. its so really zzz.. den we

asked if there's any number to call the tamp branch to check again ----- NO

tried calling the 1626 to try check out the branch, "Sorry, our Promotion's Customer Service is not available today. We are open from Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am to [whatever time it is]. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays." wtf? i tried again and again to wanna get to the tamp branch de ppl also cannot.. wtf x 2?

seeing that my gf wants that phone so badly, we rushed to the tamp branch there to try again.. upon reaching there, we rushed to the Hello! shop.. we asked the staff there (not the same person) if there's any stock for the phone today, and she said no.. and den we asked if we can reserve the phone, no AGAINSSSSS!! AHHHHHHHH!!! my gf went more crazy than i did.. but we're both feeling ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

SWEAT HAPPENING TWO:

Later in the evening, we went to the East Coast beach.. played wif my sis de new skateboard, its been so long since i last played wif skateboard alrdy during my primary sch time.. haha.. the technique is still fresh in my mind though!! yeah!! i still know how to accelerate.. but i dunno how to do stunts nia.. in fact, turning at a greater degree than what the skateboard originally can turn is also a problem for me =X lol.. but anyway i still like skateboard-ing very much.. makes me feel like i wanna be the next Tony Hawk =XXX aiya its jus a dream, a nonsense dream, so don laugh at me..

after that, we went to the lagoon there eat the hawker centre food.. we ordered crab, stingray, vege, fried oyster, char kway tiao, chicken wings and last but not least, sugar cane!! i was so full.. i believe all my family and my gf felt full too isnt it?? haha.. but we're happy!! cos it was actually taken as a celebration for father's day.. though its a bit a hot place to celebrate but its still a nice place to share food together and chatting abt everything =))


btw i watched kung fu panda.. very nice!! should watch it if u all can!! haha..

trip to e zoo!

sorri for the late late updates.. haha.. anyway well for this post, it would be about the trip on 4th may 2008 to the Singapore Zoo wif my dear's poly frens as a celebration for my dear's bday.. yeah yeah!! i've been very looking forward for this trip ever since we mentioned it a long time ago.. cos it has been centuries i last visited the place.. i shall find some photos and make descriptions of it to illustrate our trip..

Finally that marks the end of my pictures of the zoo.. phew i had a TOUGH time uploading all the pictures.. super long.. omg.. but anyway i tink its worth it =D and the time i spent there wif my dear and her frens at the zoo was also a meaningful and fun experience.. next park i wanna go would be the night safari!!
